Google has an MCP server for Ads and Analytics. Why Loopthink?
Google's servers run on your laptop. They need a cloud project, a developer token and a Python install, and they do not work in Claude in the browser. Loopthink runs hosted and gives Claude a URL.
Search Console has no Google server at all. The community ones put one login into every colleague's config file.
Your team, not your login. With Loopthink every colleague signs in with their own account and sees only the properties you ticked.
Questions before you start.
- Which Claude or ChatGPT plan do I need?
- One that can add a custom connector. In Claude that is every plan, Free included; on Team and Enterprise an Owner adds it once. In ChatGPT it is Business, Enterprise or Edu, and Pro in developer mode.
- Does Loopthink see my Google password?
- No. Google issues a token to Loopthink after you sign in on Google's own page. You revoke it at myaccount.google.com/permissions any time.
- Where is the data hosted?
- In the EU, in Germany. Loopthink is a German company.
- Can Claude change anything in Search Console or Google Ads?
- Search Console: no, the sign-in asks for the read-only scope. Google Ads has no read-only scope, so Loopthink publishes reporting tools only. A change tool exists only if an admin switches it on for that connection, and nothing is ever switched on by default.
- What counts as a connector?
- One connected system, for example one Search Console account with all its properties.
- Can I cancel?
- Monthly, at the end of any month. First paid month refunded if you never get a working tool call.
